The dream mountain to climb in my eyes.... Mount Everest. Apart from being the highest mountain above sea level on earth, it has views that can only be explained as 'we are at the top of the world' , the clouds are below, you can see the peaks on a clear day of the rest of the mountains in the Himalayan range. Normal air freight carriers and passenger planes fly at the same level as the peak of Everest, which stands at 8850m, 29,035ft high. I have day dreams of reaching the peak, and so my goal one day will be to achieve this and experience a view that i would die for. (Re: Rupert Kie Tinker 02/04/2010) There are over 120 corpses still not recovered and frozen on/in Everest. Some exhibitions can see the frozen ones which are now apart of the mountain.
I have attached some pics, comments welcome :)
Mount Everest Summit 8850m

I guess if you pick a good day, and strike it lucky with the weather, and your okay with altitude sickness, and physically fit, and mentally stable, it should be a breeze..... LOL
But then you can never tell, a storm can come out of no where, first you see in clear daylight the curve of the world, then you can't see more than a foot in front of you. Many lost lives have been taken by the mountain. The locals say it is cursed, and holy, and not for us to go and climb it. Then again many stories have formed, believe what you think is right is my way of thinking... the instinct, we all have it. I use to be a preacher in my former life....
One part scares me about Everest is the un-roped ridge walk to the summit. Its everyone for them selves. If you fall one side (i cant remember left or right) but you land in Tibet, if you fall the other side its Nepal, and its not a small drop either considering you are basically at the peak of a 8850metre high mountain!!!
Beware of the avalanche, frost bite, and altitude sickness, which usually kicks in above 3000m, don't quote me on that though.
Everest is the perfect height to test a humans body to its limit at over 8000m high, its hard to think straight, you will get confused tying up your shoe laces (lol i know they would be frozen anyway), temperatures so cold, u slip u die, if you have bare skin showing its frozen in seconds, frost bite, then chopped off, if you survive! just an example!!
